I’ve been a little MIA around the blog. But, if you follow me on Instagram (@yulissa_ros), you’ll know I’m having lots of fun. Today I wanted to share with you my Easter Sunday Outfit details. I loved the peplum detail of the skirt. I also love to color coordinate with my little girl and I wanted something special for this year’s Easter. This time daddy said yes to our every Sunday pics. I love that around this time many things go around pastel colors.

Happy Wednesday!

Is no secret that I love a-line/midi skirts. When something looks great on you, you use it  more often. That is my case with these type of skirts. They come in a enormous varieties and you can find them in many stores. They come in solid colors or with beautiful and fun prints. Many had ask me where I find my skirts or where they can find some. So, I created this midi skirts guide along with some tips of how to style them.

1- Choose unexpected hues and prints

Eventough solid colors skirts are chic and gives us an array of option to style, have fun choosing an A-line/midi skirt that has a fun print. Make an statement with it!

2- Choose ankle straps

Strappy heels gives us the visual of an elongated look. You will look taller and even gives a fancy factor too. Look this look here.

3-Balance your look

If you choose a solid color skirt paired it up with some pattern. Stripes are my favorite! Or if you choose a skirt with a pattern pair it up with solid color, top, shoes or bag.

4- Choose the waist

I love mt midi skirts to sit on my waist. This way I accentuate the “slimmest” part of my body. If you are petite just like me this is super important.

5- Tuck your blouse!

You will look taller and lady like, specially if you are petite. Since the style of the skirt is like a circle being with your top untucked may look shorter than you really are and the illusion of the waist will be lost. If I don’t tuck my top I feel like a balloon.

Have fun styling your midi skirts. And since is the first day of Spring is today, we can now use our floral skirts (groundbreaking!).

What is your favorite type of skirt? How do you style it?

Since I bought this bag a couple months ago I have become so obsessed with Danielle Nicole Disney collection or with any other Disney bag. I love that these are specially for adults and I can wear it as I like without looking childish (I hope so). I have a couple on wishlist: here and here. That’s why today I wanted to bring you my Little Mermaid fashion look. I almost feel too that I am Halloween ready with this outfit.

I tried to recreate this dress from Ariel with what I already had in my closet. I already have an outfit for our Disney trip with this bag. I loved Disney as a child and now I can continue growing that love. I have to warn, stay tuned for more Disney princesses fashion!

What do you think of these bags?
